Date: 11/11/13   Location: Room 1-209	Time (from – to): 1:15pm – 4:30pm   Activities:
Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken:   Pre production. Created shot lists and angles, cast actors, risk assessments. Worked on storyboards     Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned) Problems dealing with blogger. Also computer kept refusing to respond to my commands, had to switch to another computer to continue working

Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken: Continued with pre production. Started scripts, shot list for scenes and created equipment list and questions for interview.       Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned) Researched best shot lists to use for scenes and discussed with fellow classmates for their opinions. Problems dealing with Blogger.

Date: 25/11/13   Location: Gateshead College

Time (from – to): 1:15pm – 4:30pm   Activities:

Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken: Production. Started filming scenes around college with production team.         Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned) Problems dealing with blogger. Unable to get certain shots around college, such as Radio studio (since one doesn’t exist here) and the theatre stage. We will attempt to get shot of Metro Radio to make up for lack of studio at college and we will arrive earlier next week to get shots of the theatre.

 

Date: 2/12/13   Location: Gateshead College

Time (from – to): 1:15pm – 4:30pm   Activities:

Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken: Filmed more scenes to replace scenes with poor lighting. Began transferring from tape to Logic Pro Edit and external hard drives         Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned) Problems with scenes shot last week. Some were rendered useless and had to be reshot. Transferring shots from the tapes to the external hard drive was also problematic, it could only be transferred in small parts, which required chopping up the scenes at random intervals (should be able to fix when editing)

Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken: Editor, began creating small clips out of the footage and putting them in an appropriate order.       Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned) Did not have enough prior experience using final cut pro, had to quickly learn the basic tools of the program to edit which took valuable time out of editing and choosing clips.

 

Date: 6/1/14   Location: Room 1-209	Time (from – to): 1:15pm – 4:30pm   Activities:
Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken: Editor. Finished editing and exported video as a Quicktime Movie, started to catch up on outstanding work.       Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned) Problems dealing with Blogger. Resorted to writing on Word and transferring the data to a removable hard drive so I can work at home.

 

Date: 13/1/14   Location: Room 1-209	Time (from – to): 1:15pm – 4:30pm   Activities:
Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken: Uploaded videos to YouTube and embedded video into Blogger and got feedback from class. Worked on completing outstanding work for portfolio     Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned) No problems with Blogger, feedback returned helped with filling out evaluation.
